Spend time with us, find out more about us. TRANSPARENCY is the name of the game. Respond to us in the comments.

Unlike my professors in college, this site will use all the techniques and strategies that we promote to our clients. One major one that I’d like to focus on today is TRANSPARENCY. This is the means by which the modern user of your products or services (note I didn’t say consumer — more on that later) gets a glimpse at the humanity behind the logo.

Let’s face it. Most of us are sick to death of faceless corporations that do little to nothing for the consumer. That approach worked, still works to some extent for the big guys, but will not work for the new, fledgling, low-budget enterprise of which we all are a part. What works here is RELATIONSHIP.

So, here’s transparency. We just launched this site. We’re new to this specific version of the game, but not new to the game of promotion. We know how to build buzz, relationships and community. And here’s the first step at connecting with YOU, potential and current end-users of our services. Use the comments below to tell us about yourself. We use the Intense Debate comment system because it allows us to see threaded communications tied to a specific article on our site. So, jump in and let us know what you think.

The company is new, the talents behind it are not. (Re)Introducing Jason and Rob, two of the nicest folks you'll meet. Also two of the most talented ground-up promotional minds you're likely to come into contact with.

Yeah, the company is new; the talents behind it are not.

Meet Jason Evangelho, podcaster extraordinaire and new media junkie. Jason saw the potential of the fledgling mixture of RSS and audio files in 2004, and took it to the next level. He created a globe-spanning audio podcasting network -nay, empire - of super-produced, radio-quality episodes that showcased the best in unsigned bands and musicians around the world.

Wired, CMJ, Business Week, and the New York Times thought it rocked, too.

Jason built relationships with music industry insiders and the indie bands making it possible, creating buzz and promotional packages for a variety of artists and managers, helping them create success in an already crowded and well-monetized field.

After the success of Insomnia Radio, Jason turned his attention to Gaming Journalism, creating and staffing GamesAreEvil.com, a console-gamer’s dream of news, reviews, and thoughtful features (and podcasts!) that continues to stun the gaming press with innovative content and staggering traffic numbers.

Meet Rob LeFebvre, a family-man with a passion for the web. He took Jason’s idea and ran with it, creating a successful indie music podcast of his own, based in his current town of Anchorage, Alaska. Soon after helping create the graphical beauty behind KillYourFM magazine (Insomnia Radio’s written companion), Rob was tapped to help GamesAreEvil create its web and graphic tastiness. In addition, he became the Portable Gaming Editor, bringing in a wealth of stunning content regarding the latest hot kid on the block, the iPhone.

Fast forward a couple of months, and Rob is now the Executive Editor of ThePortableGamer.com, bringing that content and indie developer cred to the site and its devoted fanbase of readers and twitterers.

These guys know the scene. They know how to take a little slice of nothing in cyberspace and create a Buzz (capital B!) worthy of stunning a dozen monkeys. They’ve built the relationships with corporate and independent game developers and publishers, and the fans that love games and gaming, no matter what the console.

These guys know how to build relationships, how to get the attention of people that matter.

These guys want to work for you.
